What to do if your dolls hand has come off and the loop on the hand is gone.
Tools needed;needlenose pliers,
round nose pliers,
hardend wire, (sewing pin or paperclips work nicely. beading wire is too soft and will pull out under the tension of the elastic
ribbon (8 to 12 inches will do)
small screwdriver,
bowl of very hot water,

. make sure that you have the wrist ball and that the s-hook is still on the elastic in her arm.

.the loop the hook was attached to in her hand was a pin that went through the center of a pearl bead which is in her hand, you need to get the bead out of the hand to fix it.

.get a pot of water really really hot, almost boiling
.useing pliers dip the bottom oh the hand into the water for a few seconds to warm the vinyl

.Use a small screwdriver to pry out the bead or you can use needlenose pliers to open the hole enough to grip the bead and pull it out.

.get some new fresh hardend wire (sewing pins or paperclips work fine) make a loop on one end to keep it from pullin g through and thread the bead onto it, and make a loop on the other end big enough to put the hook through.

.dip the bottom of the hand back into the hot water to resoften the vinyl

.grip one loop with the pliers and shove the bead back into the hand while it is soft so that the loop is sticking out
.make sure that the bead is seated below the lip of the vinyl and continueing to hold the wire loop with pliers, run the hand under cold tap water to firm the vinyl back up

.if you can grab the s-hook with pliers or a small chrochet hook and pull it out, slip a peice of ribbon through the elastic loop and skip to picture 125.
.if the hook is not showing at the end of her wrist or if you cannot fish the elastic and hook out with a small crochet hook, you will need to remove the lower arm to get to the elastic and hook.

.dip the forearm into the water, you are trying to soften the area next to the elbow. Pull the lower arm away from the elbow until it slides off.
