what to do if your Evangeline's wrist is loose and floppy.

The most common cause of a dangleing wrist is the elastic getting pulled out and caught in the wrist hole or the knot being pulled to far forward and getting jammed.

here you can see that the elastic is pulled through the hole allowing the s-hook to dangle.

dunk the lower arm and elbow into hot water (or use a hair dryer on low 8 inches away) to soften the vinyl.

straighten the elbow joint and grip the lower arm. Carefully pull it off of the joint until it clears the post

pull the lower arm away from the elbow untill the wrist ball pulls up snugly to the wrist cup and the hand

soften the lower arm again with hot water or a hair dryer

line the lower arm up with the post and push it back together intill it is fully seated. Make sure that the joint is alligned to allow the elbow to bend in the proper direction.

Voila! no more dangleing hand.

if the hand begins dangleing often you may need to tighten the elastic or restring it. that will be covered in another tutorial.
