How to measure a doll head for a wig.

The line to measure for fitting a wig starts just above the ears mostly following where the edge of the wigcap will set.
The green elastic indicates the circumfrence to measure.

use a soft measureing tape or a peice of ribbon to measure.
If useing a ribbon, once you have the measurement, lay the ribbon out flat on a ruler to determine the length.

Most wigs are listed in inches, a 6/7 wig will fit a doll that has a head circumference 6 inches to 7 inches around. some wigs are streatchier and can be used on heads that are slightly larger that the listed fit.

note;
picture 104 is the new "plastic" Evangeline Ghastly head and measures just over 6 1/2 inches. Picture 105 is the old vinyl Evangeline Ghastly head and measures just over 6 5/16 inches. both wear a 6/7 wig!
